Where professional negligence claims are made against you, you need to rely
on professional support - especially where the
litigation/arbitration/adjudication process has been commenced or professional
Protocols are being adopted.
We use solicitors who are experts in the defence of PII claims, and appear
on many PI Insurers' panels.
They will frequently be appointed directly by PI insurers to handle the litigation
process. However, other panel firms may be selected with little previous
knowledge of your business. If our chosen solicitors are already
involved through the "PI Manager" programme, they will have gained a detailed
understanding of your working practices and key people, making the whole
litigation process far easier by their retention at this point - and insurers
are becoming increasingly willing to listen to their clients' preferences.
